What our customers are saying about B-I-N®
Had problems with redecorating after taking off old wallpaper and the paint reacting with the walls (even though the walls were cleaned of residue) and this created a perfect base and stopped any reaction. Also used it to prime furniture, to go over old gloss so then able to use water-based gloss. Great to prime any tricky surfaces, love this stuff!
A radiator upstairs slowly leaked for weeks without being noticed. On the room below, brown stains appeared on a matt emulsion ceiling. When I discovered the leak, I corrected it quickly but that left the stained ceiling downstairs. Multiple coats of emulsion paints failed to cover it. One coat of this B-I-N® primer sealer, with two coats of matt emulsion on top, completely covered the stains and, six months later, there’s no sign of them returning. I can’t recommend this sealer highly enough. As other reviewers have commented, you need to stir this really well before applying and use methylated spirit to clean everything afterwards.
Great product if you need to complete job quickly. Ideal to replace having to use a separate knotting solution. Dries very quickly, so I prefer to use roller on larger area. Great to use when priming pine skirtings. It has a quicker drying time than Zinsser Cover Stain®, so if you need to get the job done quickly it’s a great time saver. Also great to use on water-stained ceiling.
This is my go-to primer/sealer. It is great for sealing peeling paint, plastic and glass surfaces as a primer before topcoats. I have used it for years and it always performs. Excellent stuff!
